Patrick Eskandar

While most of the field was walking out the door for their dinner break, there was a hand still brewing in the middle of the room. Paul Stanechewski and Evan Teitelbaum were all-in and waiting on Patrick Eskandar to make a decision with the board reading KsTd3s2d.

Apparently, Teitelbaum had already flashed the Qs accidentally and Eskandar still called with his flush draw/wheel draw As4s. Stanechewski was ahead with bottom set 2h2s and Teitelbaum’s flush draw with Qs9s was useless. He was stuck looking for one of the non-spade jacks for a straight and Stanechewski needed to dodge Eskandar’s draws to triple up.

The 5s binked the river to complete Eskandar’s flush (and less wheel) to send Stanechewski out and Teitelbaum down.

Patrick Eskandar – 114,000 (143 bb)
Evan Teitelbaum – 40,000 (50 bb)
Paul Stanechewski – Eliminated
