Sean Boland

The 2022 Tampa Winter Poker Open drew 471 entries over three starting days and the field is down to the last 83 players. They return this afternoon to begin the next stage of finding our WPO Champion.

Sean Boland took the overall lead late in Day 1C with WSOPC Tampa champ David DiBernardi, Phillip Jackson, Bud Waggoner, and Mark Koeln rounding out the top five. Defending champ T.K. Miles is in a dangerous position in sixth with a chance to go back-to-back.

They will return to play the last 30 minutes and change in Level 14, take a short break, then come back to hour-long levels. They are scheduled to continue today until they reach the nine-handed final table or the end of Level 24, whichever comes first.

Those players will come back on Monday at 2 pm and find our WPO Champ.
