Day 2 of the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Summer Poker Open is off and running.

131 players return for their shot at the $1.1 million prize pool, but we’re still a long way from the money and the first place prize of $295,203.

Levels extend to 90 minutes and players will play 7 levels with play wrapping ~12:30 am.

Ray Prieto (St. Petersburg, FL) is the chip leader with 302k (252 bb) and the field features November Niner Dennis Phillips (3rd place / 2008) who is just off the chip average with 56k (47 bb).

The field is still stacked with event winners from the series and a host of local and regional grinders. The action is underway in the tournament area overlooking the Rockin’ Pool.
