Tony March limped in under-the-gun, Jean Gaspard called from the small blind and Chris Dombrowski checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came AcTc3d and action checks to March, who bets 100,000. Gaspard check-calls and Dombrowski folds. The turn is the 3s and Gaspard leads out for 160,000. March calls and the river is the Jd and Gaspard leads out for 350,000 and March quickly calls.

Gaspard tables Td3c and takes the pot against March’s Ad5h.

A few hands later, Gaspard raised to 105,000 from under-the-gun and calls a three-bet from March in the small blind.

The flop is Kd8d8s and March check-calls 250,000 from Gaspard. Both players check the 6c turn and see the 7c river.

March checks a third time and Gaspard pushes forward 500,000. March goes into the tank for over seven minutes before Gaspard says anything.

“Show me your hand and I’ll tell you what to do,” said Gaspard with a smile. “Are you really taking this long with ace-queen?”

“I call,” said March and tables QcQh.

“What is that?” asks Gaspard before tabling Ts9c, good for a straight.

After just a few hands, March is down to 535,000 and Gaspard takes the chip lead with 2,700,000 in chips.
