$1,700 TPC Championship (Re-Entry)
Prize Pool:  $343,500  |  Structure
Level 1:  100/200 with a 200 ante
Flight C Entries:  34

Cards are in the air for the first flight of the TPC Championship and, as promised, we hit the first milestone as soon as the clock was started.

Only five new entries were needed to hit the $300,000 guarantee and we had 34 at the start. We expect a busy day in the Poker Room, come get a seat and build a bag.

The third and final flight of the 2025 TPC Championship gets underway at 11 am and it will immediately hit a milestone. The tournament drew 195 entries over the first two flights leaving the $1,700 buy-in tournament only five new entries away from hitting the $300,000 guarantee.

We have more than that already registered for today, so the prize pool will instantly jump over $300,000 when the clock starts.

They’ll sit down to 40K in their stacks and all levels last 40 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 10 at 5:45 pm and players may re-enter as often as they wish during that time.

Flight C will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and survivors will return tomorrow at noon for Day 2.

It looks like we will have another break after all since 19 players remain, and there is still a lot of work to get to 15.

Justin Green is doing his part; he sent another player to the rail and stacked his castle up to 556,000. Hassan Hakim is moving back in the right direction with 406,000 and Johnny Bromberg is joining the big stacks with 310,000.

Jared Reinstein

Cards are back in the air after the last break of the day, or it should be the last break unless things start to grind near the bubble. 27 players remain, and 15 will move on to Day 2 on Sunday.

Another leader emerged over the last two hours. Jared Reinstein is the frontrunner with 286,000, closely followed by Alejandro Arana with 280,000. Daniel Li, Justin Green, and Hassan Hakim round out the top five heading into the late part of the day.

Jared Reinstein – 286,000 (72 bb)
Alejandro Arana – 280,000 (70 bb)
Daniel Li – 254,000 (64 bb)
Justin Green – 245,000 (61 bb)
Hassan Hakim – 200,000 (50 bb)

Championship Day 1B: Evan Pantano and Daniel Li Climbing

Level 12:  1,500/3,000 with a 3,000 ante

Evan Pantano

The field is quickly shrinking and they are down to less than four tables, 29 players trying to find a spot in the last 15 to advance to Day 2.

Evan Pantano is making a move up the counts, among the leaders with 240,000 and Daniel Li moved over 200K. In a big of a shock, last break’s leader Robert LeBeau is no longer in his seat and his stack spread among the other players at Table 11.
