The last flight of WPO Event 4 gets underway at 1 pm and the $700 DeepStack Challenge will hit its first milestone as soon as cards go in the air. Wiht 80 entries yesterday, the tournament is only two new ones away from surpassing the $50,000 guarantee and we have that already in the game.
Now we just run it up.
Players sit with 30K at the start and all levels last 40 minutes until the tournament reaches heads-up a long time from now. Late registration is available until the start of Level 10 at 7:45 pm so there’s plenty of time to get to the Poker Room.
Play will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and survivors return on Wednesday at 1 pm for Day 2.

Winter Poker Open Event 3 was a fun $400 Limit Omaha 8 tournament that drew a talented field with 58 entries, creating a prize pool worth $19,430. After a long day of chopping pots, Jay Kerbel came out on top for the Event 3 for $5,295 in a heads-up deal.
Already having Limit Omaha 8 tournament wins in Hollywood and Vegas, Kerbel now owns a Tampa O8 title. Congrats Jay!

Cards are back in the air for Flight A of WPO Event 4, and registration closed with 80 entries. That leaves the field only two new entries from surpassing the $50,000 guarantee and it will get there before cards go in the air for Flight B.
We have a satellite running right now with five seats up for grabs so GG for that.
Jason Oloughlin is the late leader in the field with 252,000 followed by David Moses with 189,000.
Flight A will continue until ten players remain and they will advance to Day 2 on Wednesday at 1 pm.

We have a fun group in the $700 DeepStack Challenge with 69 entries, and they are near surpassing the $50,000 guarantee. We have two hours remaining to register this flight but a whole other one tomorrow.
It might get there tonight but definitely early tomorrow if not.
Some friends in today’s field so far include David Moses, Gabe Fuller, Marsha Wolak, Ryah Hogan, Tarun Gulati, Terri-Anne Crawford, Marie Harrell, and Tony March.
Moses picked up a recent win in Hollywood during their Lucky Heart Poker Open and Hogan bookended two six-digit scores in their opening event and Championship. Fuller won last night’s Bankroll Builder and Gulati final-tabled Event 1.
