Tampa, FL (December 10, 2015) — Jami Cvek is the most recent of champions at the 2015 Winter Poker Open following a three-way chop in the $150 double green chip bounty tournament. The event — the sixth of 14 primary events at the WPO — took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Wednesday, December 9, and concluded in less than eight hours. Cvek, a caregiver from Davenport, FL, earned $1,621 while Scott Caracciolo and Daniel Wilson earned $1,620 for their 2nd- and 3rd-place finishes.

For Cvek, the win marks just her second career tournament cash. In addition to the prize money, she earned an undisclosed number of $50 bounties which were paid out in the form of two green $25 chips. The victory complements a runner-up  finish she carded in a $125 event in this August’s Summer Deep Stack Poker Series for $770.

Event 6 of the WPO drew a field of 124 entries generating a prize pool of $8,680. In addition to the standard payouts, players received a $50 bounty for each participant they eliminated.
