Heads-up action between Peter Walsworth (right) and William Medina-Diaz on the bubble

Action moved fast with the Level 18 blinds up and the bubble came and went over the course of three hands.

On the second hand of hand-for-hand, Richard Carr opened to 20,000 from early position and William Medina-Diaz called from middle position. It was on Peter Walsworth on his direct left and he three-bet to 83,000. Carr quickly got out of the way while Medina-Diaz called.

Flop: 8h3h2c – Medina-Diaz checked, staring down Walsworth all the while. Walsworth bet 51,000 and Medina-Diaz’s eyes went back toward the flop. He shoved for about 200,000 and Walsworth snapped. Medina-Diaz was the at-risk player.

Walsworth: KsKd
Medina-Diaz: TcTd

Both players had an overpair, but Walsworth’s was best.
