Eli Kiwan

Eli Kiwan put all his chips in the middle with a four-bet ship for 407,000 from early position and Wagner Wysotchanki had him at risk from the big blind.

Kiwan: AhAc
Wysotchnaski: 8c8h

Kiwan was way ahead with his aces but found a small sweat on the 9h7s5h flop. The turn was 5c and Kiwan began gathering his belongings before the 2h river.

Then it occurred to Kiwan that he won the hand and sat back down.

“I swear I thought the turn was a six for his straight,” Kiwan laughed with the table.

Eli Kiwan – 829,000 (83 bb)
Wagner Wysotchanski – 880,000 (88 bb)

Championship: Jason Min – 26th Place ($5,500)

Jason Min

Jason Min was all in and at risk for 131,000 against Kharlin Sued. Min was behind with Td8d but had two live cards versus Sued’s AdQd.

Sued paired his ace on the Ah3d3c flop and could not find a save on the 5s turn or 5h flop to exit in 26th place.

Kharlin Sued – 330,000 (33 bb)
Jason Min – Eliminated in 26th Place ($5,500)

Championship: Anthony Bertuccio Doubles Twice, Mo Alhalwani Doubles Through Brian Ray

Mo Alhalwani

Mo Alhalwani was all in for 133,000 from the cutoff and Brian Ray had him at risk from the button for a slightly bigger stack.

Alhalwani: AdAc
Ray: 2c2h

Alahlwani was dominating with his aces and it got better when he made a set on the AhKh3d flop. He needed that third ace but Ray made a set of his own after the 6h turn and 2s river.

Alhalwani doubled while was left short.

Mo Alhalwani – 291,000 (29 bb)
Brian Ray – 28,000 (3 bb)

In the meantime, starting short-stack Anthony Bertuccio caught two early doubles to get back in the game.

“You’re going to have a great story tomorrow,” Bertuccio said before the start of play.

Wesley Haymond and Wagner Wysotchanski are the only two players and, by the luck of the draw, are seated next to each other to start the day.

The schedule was updated, and when 16 players remain, there will be a two-table redraw instead of a three-table redraw at 24. They are scheduled to play down to the final table nine, but that might also change depending on when they get there and player opinions.
