Event 7: David Tuthill Doubles Through Heng Zhang; Phil Hui Doubles Through Tuthill

$1,125 Pot Limit Omaha (Re-Entry)
Structure | Payouts
Level 24:  10,000/25,000
Players Remaining: 9 of 212

After a series of raises, David Tuthill (hijack) got his 320,000 stack in the middle against Heng Zhang (cutoff).

Tuthill: AsJcJdTc
Zhang: AhAc9d5h

The dealer ran the board out Ad9h8hKd7c and Tuthill made a jack-high straight to double up.

A few hands later, Phil Hui opened to 60,000 from the hijack and David Tuthill called from the small blind to the Ad4h3s flop. Both players checked, the turn was 9h, Tuthill checked, Hui bet 60,000 and Tuthill called. The river was 8d, Tuthill checked, and Hui moved all in for 420,000. Tuthill thought for two minutes and called.

Hui tabled As9cTh8h for two pair aces and nine and Tuthill flashed AcKc[x][x] before mucking the double.

Phil Hui – 695,999 (28 bb)
David Tuthill – 135,000 (5 bb)
Heng Zhang – 125,000 (5 bb)

Li: KhKsQhJc
Prociak: KdQcJs5c

“Oh, I’m drawing dead,” Prociak said.

“Running clubs,” a tablemate laughed.

The 4h turn left Prociak with six chop outs but the Jh river sent the big pot across the table.

Yi Chi Li – 570,000 (29 bb)
David Prociak – 1,500,000 (75 bb)
