There was no change at the top of the counts other than the size of the stacks. Ok Haselton was the second break leader with 123,100 but Ian Casey was not far behind with 122,000.

Chris Ayers is the new contender in town and his 120,500 has him thinking about ending the day with the chip lead. Any cash here will be his first and it looks like he’s a regular in Maryland with 31 of the 33 records cashes coming from the Hanover room.

The entry count hit 133 entries and Flight C matched the biggest flight of the tournament so far. Flight A drew the same number yesterday afternoon but they still have 90 minutes here to take it higher.

Charlie Kapetanakos is back with us today after a nice run on Sunday. He cruised through Day 2 of Event 1, made the money, followed by the final table, and he cashed out for $34,000 for a third-place finish after a six-way deal.

Flight C players are back in their seats after the break and they are set to make their way through another four levels before the next one.

We found two big stacks in the room while they were gone. Both Ok Haselton and Ian Casey are at the 60,000 after 3Xing their stack in the first two hours.

Haselton ran deep in the big opening event of the series and picked up her biggest tournament score earlier this year when she won a SHR Tampa Deep Stack event for more than $8,600.

Perhaps there was a slow down in entries in the future after all. The field added another five entries over the previous level and it continues to outpace both of the opening flights.

We mentioned Ian Casey earlier with his deep run in the May Little Slick and we found another. Dennis Altman plays everywhere between the Jersey Shore and the left coast of Florida and has success in both areas. He finished just off the last two tables in the May Little Slick, going out 19th out of 1,896 for a nice return on the $150 investment.

Flight C cruised right over 100 entries before they hit the end of the third level and they are not slowing down yet. We have a quick-moving line at the registration desk and empty seats are filling as soon as they are vacated.

Ian Casey was among the early entrants and grinding his stack up early. The Tampa regular found his most recent cash a month ago when he went deep in the May Little Slick event

We thought Event 3 would hit the $100,000 Guarantee sometime this afternoon but we didn’t even have to wait that long. With ten minutes remaining in the first level of the day, we found our 84th entry into today’s flight to push the combined total to 334, good enough for a $100,200 prize pool.

There was a slight delay to the start of the day so registration will be open until approximately 3:40 this afternoon with the last flight running at 6pm.
