The last warmup before the TPC Championship was the $1,100 One-Day Challenge and we had a huge turnout with 152 entries. Tampa favorite Fred Paradis added to an already successful run with his second series trophy after an outright win saw him earn another $36,510.

In addition to this win, Paradis captured the TPC Event 1 title for nearly $92,000 and was our WPT Tampa Championship runner-up a few months ago.

Registration closed for the $1,100 One-Day Challenge with a huge turnout of 152 entries that nearly tripled the $50,000 guarantee. They put together a prize pool worth $147,440 and the last 19 places will be paid. A min-cash is worth $2,330 and the winner will earn $36,510 plus the TPC trophy.

The $1,100 One-Day Challenge got off to a great start this afternoon with more than 90 entries at the first break and steadily climbing.

Some early entrants include Filipp Khavin, Event 4 champ Jerry Silva, Marsha Wolak, Carlos Loving, Raminder Singh, Jacob Naumann, Thomas McDonald, Byrce McVay, Julio Delgado, Fred Paradis, and Ryan Hogan.

They’ve nearly doubled the $50,000 guarantee with registration open until 4:30 pm.

We are one day away from kicking off the 2023 Tampa Poker Classic Championship so it’s a good time to bring back the One-Day Challenge at noon. It has a $1,100 buy-in, a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool, and a structure that will wrap things up later this evening.

Players start with 30,000 stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm and they may re-enter is often as needed during that time. A 40-minute dinner break is scheduled at 8:45 pm and they will return to find our last winner before the Championship.
