The Winter Poker Open $250 Bankroll Builder continued the great turnouts of the series so far with 236 entries wiping out the $10,000 guarantee early. It came down to a tough final table and Brandon Byars took the title along with $5,904 after a six-way deal.

They combined to create a prize pool worth $37,360 with the last 24 players getting paid. They burst the money bubble before the late dinner break and quickly formed the final table. In addition to Byars, other top players at the final table included Fernando Rodriguez, Eric Walling, and Ryan Hogan.

After Kostas Kalathakis was eliminated in seventh place, the six remaining players made a deal for the rest of the prize money. Byars was the big stack at the time and earned the WPO win plus his $5,904 payday.
