Right as the second level of the day was about to expire, entry number 187 hit the tournament to put the combined total at 834. That puts the prize pool at $250,200 to officially best the big guarantee.

And it won’t stop there. With a lot more players expected, they should have a really big number by the time registration closes at 3:30 pm.

The entry count doubled over the first level and very close to hitting the mark for the guarantee. It will be a race to which gets here first; entry number 187 or the clock hitting noon. Either way, beating the $250,000 guarantee is a lock.

A few loyal locals are back with us including James Baune taking a shot. He’s a regular presence in any big Seminole Hard Rock Poker festival and this one is no different. Baune had several close calls in the past with more than $50K in career earnings and final tables but still looking for his first SHRP trophy. One of his most recent scores was a final table appearance at a WSOP Circuit PLO ring event in Choctaw.
