Jack McIntyre’s stack prior to a kings versus ace-king confrontation

Level 13 is here and players are set to log just under 60 more minutes of play before Flight A of the $350 concludes. Not much has changed on the leaderboard as Jack McIntyre is continuing his chip-stacking ways. He’s hit some fortunate cards and recently picked up pocket kings to bust an opponent’s ace-king all-in preflop. He took the pot and piled it onto his roughly 290,000-chip stack.

Others joining McIntyre still in the hunt for a bag are Justin Zaki and Daniel Rodriguez. Seminole Hard Rock Tampa poker ambassador Wally Maddah and Anthony Astarita, meanwhile, have found the felt.

  • Flight B – Tonight at 6pm
  • Flight C – Tomorrow at 11am
  • Flight D – Tomorrow at 6pm

Registration for all flights is available for four-and-a-half more hours.

Event 4: $350 Deep Stack, $100K Gtd
Level 11: 600/1,200/200 | Structure
Flight A Players Remaining: 43/133

Jack McIntyre

Jack McIntyre eclipsed the 100,000 mark and enjoys a stack of 129,000 chips here in Flight A. McIntyre has gone deep in a handful of events here at the Seminole Hard Rock, but is still in search of the elusive win. If he’s able to put together a few more good levels, he’ll put a good stack in the bag and be in position to run it up on Day 2.

Event 4A: Claudemir Osorio Best in Three-Way All-In

Event 4: $350 Deep Stack, $100K Gtd
Level 10: 500/1,000/100 | Structure
Flight A Players Remaining: 55/133

Claudemir Osorio

There was an early -position raise and Claudemir Osorio promptly shoved for about 7,500 from behind. It folded to the big blind who jammed for more and it was back on the original raiser. He called having both players covered.

Osorio’s kings held and he tripled while the at risk opponent hit the rail.

Osorio owns two major wins here at the Seminole Hard Rock. The first came during one of the Deep Stack Series in May of 2015, while the second happened during the WPTDeepStacks series in June of 2016.

Event 4A: Ambassador Wally Maddah Back in the Game

Event 4: $350 Deep Stack, $100K Gtd
Level 7: 250/500/50 | Structure
Flight A Entries: 124

Wally Maddah

The $350 Flight A clock shows 123 entries adding on to an already strong turnout in the tournament opener. Doing his part to help the entry count was ambassador Wally Maddah. Starting his Monday a bit on the hungry side, Maddah got all-in early and found the felt. He used his down time to grab some grub and is now in the midst of his second buy-in to the event.

Maddah is a staple at any Seminole Hard Rock series. His HendonMob shows over $300,000 in career earnings which go along with a number of reported, side-event wins too. Most recently, the Tampa resident final tabled a HORSE event during the Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open as well as Sunday’s Winter Poker Open $250 Turbo.

Event 4A: Quadruple Stack for Jimmy Farmsworth

Event 4: $350 Deep Stack, $100K Gtd
Level 5: 150/300/50 | Structure
Flight A Entries: 107

Jimmy Farmsworth

Jimmy Farmsworth stands above the rest following the first break in Flight A of the $350. From 20,000 starting chips, he’s basically quadrupled his holdings and now flirts with the 80,000 mark. Farmsworth has put together some cashes here at the Seminole Hard Rock, but not in an event of this magnitude. There’s a long way to go, but it’s tough to imagine a better start than quadrupling up in the first four levels.

The clock shows 107 entries putting the event already ahead of place of last year. Registration and re-entry are available until about 3:30pm and the final attendance figure will be posted at that time.
