Stuart PrietoJust before the break, Stuart Prieto opened for 4k and got a  call from the big blind.  On the Jack-high flop, Stuart bet another 4k and got check-raised all-in for 16,625.

Stuart made the call, showing AQ for two overcards.  His opponent held J5 for a pair of Jacks and the lead.

Stuart got lucky, catching the ubiquitous Ace on the river to take the pot, sending his opponent to the rail.  Stuart chipped up to almost 90k.

Cards are in the air for today’s only secondary event.  The $385 Mega Satellite will award 1 in 10 players a seat in the $3,500 Summer Poker Open Championship event.

Two seats are guaranteed to be awarded.  Players started with 10,000 chips and levels are 30 minutes long.  Late registration and re-entry are available until the start of level 5 (about 5:15pm).

Players are back from their second break and registration has closed for this flight.

The final count for entries in Flight E is 344, nearly double the size of he largest previous flight.  This brings the overall total to 946 entries.  With one more flight to go at 7pm tonight, the prize pool is already up to $283,800 of the $300,000 Guarantee.

The sixth and final flight takes off at 7pm.  Registration for Flight F will be open until the start of level 7 (about 10:30pm).

Justin BoothJustin Booth is in the house, fresh from winning his first gold ring a couple of weeks ago in New Orleans.  He’s sporting the hardware today as he builds a big stack early.

The Atlanta native is up to about 104k and decided to detour south for the action here at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa instead of heading straight to Vegas.  He’s got a baby on the way next month and having great poker action closer to home is a huge benefit.
