Jake Schwartz raised under the gun to 50,000, Stephen Song moved all in for about 120,000, and Anthony Askey moved all in over the top from the big blind for about 200,000.

Schwartz thought for a bit before he called, and all three players turned over their cards.

Jake Schwartz:  5h5c
Anthony Askey:  JhJc
Stephen Song:  Ah10s

The board came 9s9h7h5hAd, and Schwartz turned a full house, fives full of nines, to scoop the entire pot and eliminate both of his opponents from the tournament.

The next hand after David Prociak’s elimination in eighth place, Faraz Jaka raised under the gun to 35,000. Gary Lucci reraised from the cutoff to 100,000, and Mark Zullo reraised from the big blind to about 265,000. Jaka thought for a while before he folded.

Lucci five-bet all in for nearly 900K, and Zullo called with KhKd. Lucci turned over AsAd, and he needed his aces to hold to stay alive.

But there was a king in the window as the board came KsJs7h8s10d, giving Zullo a flopped set of kings to win the pot and eliminate Lucci in seventh place.

Jaka claimed to have folded ace-queen, which would have rivered a Broadway straight for him to triple up in chips.

Mark Zullo  –  2,015,000  (126 bb)
Gary Lucci  –  Eliminated in 7th Place  ($11,110)

The players returned from dinner to begin Level 22, with blinds at 8,000-16,000 and a 16,000 ante.

After about 20 minutes of play, Brock Wilson got it all in from the cutoff for 322,000 with AcQs, and he needed his hand to hold to stay alive against Faraz Jaka’s QhJd in the small blind.

The board came Qd9s3h4h6s, and Wilson won the pot with a pair of queens and his ace kicker to double up in chips.

Brock Wilson  –  676,000  (42 bb)
Faraz Jaka  –  600,000  (38 bb)

A few minutes later, Faraz Jaka raised from the hijack to 35,000, Jake Schwartz called from the small blind, and Gary Lucci reraised from the big blind to 91,000. Jaka folded, and Schwartz called.

The flop came Ah7d3d, Schwartz checked, Lucci bet 75,000, and Schwartz called.

The turn card was the 10c, and both players checked. The river card was the Qh, and they checked again. Lucci showed KhKd to win the pot, and Schwartz mucked.

The turn card was the 9d, and both players checked.

The river card was the 2h, Jaka checked, Song bet 80,000, and Jaka thought for a bit before he check-raised all in. Song snap-folded, and Jaka took the pot.

After a flop of 7d4h2d, Anthony Askey checked the big blind, Brock Wilson bet 21,000 from the cutoff, and Askey called. The turn card was the 8h, and both players checked.

The board came Qc9s7d4cAh — Kramer paired his nine on the flop to take the lead, but Jaka paired his ace on the river to win the pot and eliminate Kramer in ninth place.

Stephen Song and Brock Wilson
Stephen Song (left) and Brock Wilson after the hand

That pot took Jaka into what looked to be a tie for the chip lead with Stephen Song, but it’s tough to tell because Song is already playing the next hand against Brock Wilson on a flop of 9c8s5s.

Song checked the small blind, Wilson bet 8,000 from the big blind, and Song check-raised to 28,000. Wilson called.

The turn card was the Ah, Song bet 60,000, and Wilson tanked for a while before he called.

The river card paired the board with the Ac, and Song thought for a bit before he moved all in.

Wilson snap-called all in for 218,000 with 7d6c for a flopped nine-high straight, and Song reluctantly turned over Qs7h for a failed bluff. Wilson won the pot with his straight to double up in chips.

Brock Wilson  –  630,000  (79 bb)
Stephen Song  –  730,000  (91 bb)

Faraz Jaka

After Song lost that big pot, Faraz Jaka had sole possession of the chip lead.

With 10 players remaining, the average chip stack is about 415,000 (52 big blinds), and these players are all guaranteed at least $7,453 each.
