Julio Novo and Rod Rodrigue are both stacking about 170k, so the chip lead is too close to call.

Andrew Kelsall 155k
Rob LeBeau 130k

Julio Novo
Julio Novo

On the turn with the board showing QhTc4s2d Julio Novo decided to move in for 35,250.

His opponent in seat 9 tanked for a minute, then called with AsTs for a pair of Tens.  Julio’s pocket Aces was way ahead and his opponent only had two outs.

When the 5c came on the river, Julio doubled up.

Championship: Table Change for Godwin

$1,650 Buy-In Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 10: Blinds 500/1,000/100 ante

Before the blinds went up:

Jon Godwin
Jon Godwin

John Godwin got moved from table 9, which was loaded with pros, to table 10 to balance.  He thought his new table would be better, but lost half his stack on the first hand after flopping top pair against an overpair.

He’s now on the table with Brian Haas, Archibald McLauchlin, Rob Manjura, Vitor Coelho, and Robert Georato.

Rob Manjura
Rob Manjura

Georato (bb) checked the river with a board showing 9s9h2dAsKc and Manjura fired 2k.  After taking some time to think, Georato called.  Manjura showed Ad4d for Aces-up and Georato mucked.

Before this got posted, table 10 broke and guess what?  Jon Godwin got moved back to table 9!  “They’re torturing me,” he said.  Table 9 will be the next table to break, but who knows how long that will be.

Championship: Racener Arrives

$1,650 Buy-In Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 9: Blinds 400/800/75 ante

John Racener
John Racener

2010 WSOP Main Event runner-up John Racener arrived with about 9 minutes left in the level and about 25k left of his 30k starting stack, which was being blinded off.

He wasted no time getting in the action, 3-betting his first hand on the button and taking the pot without a fight.
