Fishman needed to catch something to double up but missed the Kh8h6c flop. He began standing up when the turn came 5d but sat right back down after the river Qc for his double.

Action folded to Kevin Blewitt in the cutoff and he moved all in for 94,000. Deborah Farmer folded her button, Aaron Thivyanathan folded his small blind, and Ken Fishman thought for a moment in the big.

“It’s right in the middle,” Fishman said after confirming the count.

He called and the cards were tabled.

It was a race but Blewitt slammed the door with a four in the window of the 5h2s4h flop. Blewitt made a set of fours and another double was complete after the Qc turn and 8s river.

Blewitt was ahead but need to dodge two live cards to double. The board ran out Ad6d3hJh9h, Blewitt made the overkill heart flush, and doubled up.

Soon after the final table was underway, Deborah Farmer opened to 12,000 from early position and Doug Marro moved all in for 76,000 from the cutoff. Igor Tretyakov checked his cards while still stacking his bag in the small blind, moved all in, and got folds from Matthew Leecy in the big and Farmer released her original raise.

A cooler coming right out of the gates and Marro needed a lot of help to double. The board ran out Td2s2c8s7c and Marro was unable to improve and was sent out early in the day.

Event 2 was scheduled to stop when it reached the nine-handed final table but they continued playing until the money bubble burst with seven getting paid.

With a little more than 35 minutes remaining in Level 16, the $1,100 buy-in tournament reached seven to finish play for the evening.

Ken Fishman leads a very tough final table and all are capable of taking the top spot. They return on Monday at 2 pm to play it down to a winner.
