Ken O’Donnell

On the very next hand after Kevin Blewitt was eliminated, Peter Bozek raised again to 55K, Ken O’Donnell moved all in for 355,000 and Bozek called.

Bozek: AhQs
O’Donnell: AsJh

Two big aces in back-to-back hands and Bozek slammed the door when he paired his queen on the Qc8s3c flop. The 3s turn and 6c river finished the board and O’Donnell was eliminated in eighth place.

To go from nearly busting on the money bubble to picking up a $3,920 payout, that’s not too shabby.

Peter Bozek – 1,520,000 (61 bb)
Ken O’Donnell – Eliminated in 8th Place ($3,920)

Event 3: Kevin Blewitt – 9th Place ($3,115)

Kevin Blewitt

Peter Bozek opened to 55,000 from early position and Juan Castro Ramirez called. Kevin Blewitt moved all in next to act for 320,000 and the button and blinds folded. Bozek moved all in over the top and Ramirez folded.

Bozek: AcKh
Blewitt: AsTd

Blewitt was dominated by the bigger ace and found no love on the Ad8h5c9c7h board to exit the final table in ninth place.

Peter Bozek – 1,100,000 (44 bb)
Kevin Blewitt – Eliminated in 9th Place ($3,115)

Kennii Nguyen

With the deep stacks and slow structure, there is really no pressure for anyone to get out of line and take an odd angle at a pot. That means there was very little action over the first 30 minutes of the final table other than Ken O’Donnell taking a little dip down to 470,000 and Kennii Nguyen moving up to 3,000,000.

Bradley Grossman

We heard the commotion before we saw the results. In the end, Bradley Grossman and Alan Thomas had their chips in the middle for a +900K pot with Grossman at risk.

Grossman: AdAh
Thomas: TsTh

Grossman was in a great spot but found bad news on the Td6c3d flop. Thomas caught top set and it held on the 5s turn and Ks river. A tough way to go out anytime, let alone deep in a big tournament.

Grossman’s elimination left the field one knockout away from the final table.

11th: Bradley Grossman – $2,510
12th: Thomas Elder – $2,510

And just like that, the second half of Level 21 saw three players hit the rail in succession including Event 1 runner-up Albennes Armstrong. They are now three eliminations away from forming the final table.

Blinds are up to 10,000/20,000 with a 20,000 ante and the average stack is about 905,000 (45 bb).

13th: Christopher Blik – $2,050

15th: Raul Roa Bello – $1,700
16th: Marcus Gurley – $1,700

Event 3: Final Table Return?

Level 21:  10,000/15,000 with a 15,000 ante
Players Remaining:  15 of 271

Albennes Armstrong

There was very little action over the first 30 minutes after the dinner break, still 15 players remaining with no one in any hurry to get frisky.

We noticed we have three members of the big Event 1 final table. Albennes Armstrong was the runner-up, Juan Carlos Ramirez finished fifth and Alan Thomas was sixth. None of them would mind getting back there again.

Alan Thomas
Juan Carlos Ramirez
