The victory came in a $250 No Limit Hold’em Turbo tournament and Major earned $4,822 following a three-way chop with Samuel Destefon and Michael Imperiale.
Major is 44 years old and originally from Savannah, Georgia. Following the win, his tournament resume boasts nine final tables and two victories good for nearly $80,000 in reported earnings. He is a retired member of the United States Marine Corps.
