board. He had the middle end of the straight, but was second best to his opponent’s 
top end. The opponent was all in for almost 20,000 and Kegel doubled him up.

Mark “Bud” Wiser experienced some success in last year’s WPTDeepStacks Main Event ultimately finishing 17th for a score of $3,932. In the years since, he’s recorded 11 additional cashes at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa including a final table appearance in a $150 during last December’s Winter Poker Open.
After being down a bit early in today’s $570 Flight A, Wiser is back to about starting stack in Level 3. He recently played in a three-way raised pot. Following flop and turn action, it was heads up to the river. Wiser and his lone opponent checked it down and Wiser turned over the best of it with a rivered pair.

Joey Alegria is a regular in the new Seminole Hard Rock Tampa poker room. While the majority of his time is spent at the cash tables, he’s branched out into tournament play over the last year.
Alegria’s first reported cash came in August of 2016 during the property’s Summer Deep Stack series. His tournament career, young as it may be, is headlined by a $23,000 score in last December’s Winter Poker Open $570 as well as a $21,000 score in that series’ Championship.
With just south of $50,000 in earnings, Alegria has taken to the tournament scene. He’s been spotted at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood and Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee during their major events and is back it again today in the WPTDeepStacks-Tampa opener.
Alegria sits on just over starting stack late in Level 2 and eyes another deep run.
