Prostak: TsTc
Coolman: AhQh
Martini: 9d8d

Prostack had a lot to dodge and Martini caught a piece of the KsJs8c flop while Coolman had added a small gutshot draw. The 4h turn was a blank and the Kc river completed a double KO for Prostak.

Coolman earned 18th place money because of the bigger stack and Table 44 was broken.

Event 7: Aric Pluskat Doubles Through Vitor Coelho

$570 Deep Stack NL Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 23: 10,000/20,000 with a 3,000 ante
Players Remaining: 22 of 624

Aric Pluskat

The slow, steady pace continues as Event 7 crawls towards the dinner break. There were two double ups without an elimination with former leader Aric Pluskat catching the biggest.

He was all-in with QcQd against Vitor Coelho’s 9c9d.

“My lucky nines!” Coelho laughed.

The 5d4s3h flop made no difference but they both twitched on the 8h turn.

“You guys though it was a nine, didn’t you?” joked a tablemate.

The 5c river completed the clean runout for Pluskat’s double.

Aric Pluskat – 400,000 (20 bb)
Vitor Coelho – 143,000 (7 bb)

Event 7: John Dolan Eliminated in 23rd Place by Scott Caracciolo

$570 Deep Stack NL Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 22: 8,000/16,000 with a 2,000 ante
Players Remaining: 22 of 624

John Dolan

John Dolan opened it up with a raise to 35,000 from the cutoff. The button called as did the Scott Caracciolo in the big blind. The trio saw a flop of 8s4c3c and Caracciolo checked. Dolan bet 50,000 getting the button to flold. It was back on Caracciolo and he called.

They were then heads up and the dealer peeled the 3d turn. Caracciolo checked and Dolan bet 70,000. Caracciolo verified the value of the bet, then reached deep into hist stack for a raise to 225,000.

Caracciolo raises on the turn.

Dolan thought for a good minute or so, then moved all-in for just slightly more than the 225,000-chip bet. Caracciolo called and Dolan was at risk.

Caracciolo: As3h for trips
Dolan: Jd8h for top pair

The board completed with the 6h. Dolan was left stunned as he was sent home in 23rd place earning $1,707.

Scott Caracciolo

Scott Caracciolo – 1,065,000
John Dolan – Eliminated in 23rd place ($1,707)

Event 7: Davian Santana vs. Brandon Byars

$570 Deep Stack NL Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 22: 8,000/16,000 with a 2,000 ante
Players Remaining: 25 of 624

Davian Santana

Brandon Byars, who was sitting on over 500,000 at the time, kicked it off with a raise to 35,000. It folded around to Davian Santana in the big blind and he called.

Flop: AdKhTh

Santana checked. Byars bet 60,000. Santana called.

Turn: AdKhTh5d

Santana checked again. Byars bet again, this time an even 100,000. Santana called again leaving himself about 165,000 behind.

River: AdKhTh5dKd pairing the board

Santana lead for an all-in bet of roughly 165,000. Byars frustratingly folded. Santana raked the pot.

For Byars, the hand was a small hiccup in what’s been a great Day 2. After being below 50,000 chips on the money bubble, he ran it up and currently sits at 350,000.

Davian Santana – 567,000 (35 bb)
Brandon Byars – 350,000 (21 bb)
