Sanjib Acharya just became the most recent casualty of Vinny Censabella’s hot streak here late in the Pinktober $565. Holding on a flop, Acharya got all-in for about 200,000 with a flush draw. Censabella called and turned over for trips. The turn and river came diamondless and Acharya never improved.
He was eliminated in 25th place while Censabella crossed 2,000,000 chips.

There was an early-position raise to 28,000 and Vinny Censabella called from late position as did Joseph Skarzynski on the button. It was on massive start-of-day chip leader, Fernando Rodriguez, who’d sputtered as of late to claim a mortal stack. Rodriguez shoved the small blind for 373,000 total and it was back on the original raiser.
He folded after a minute or two leaving it up to Censabella who called without hesitation. Skarzynski got out of the way and it was a clash between the current and former chip leader.
Rodriguez was caught with ace-high and improving to a pair of threes wasn’t enough. He was eliminated by Censabella in 34th after beginning the day with more than 1,000,000 chips — twice that of second place.
Censabella stacked a massive pot and took the chip lead as players went on their second break.

Start-of-day chip leader Fernando Rodriguez is back to reality with 690,000 chips. While it’s still good for one of the biggest in the room, he’s come from a long way from the 1,000,000 chips he slept on overnight.
Play is going deeper into the money and the stacks are leveling out with Vinny Censabella (820,000), Trevor Hurst (705,000) and Anthony Dianaty (550,000) among the leaders.

There was a quick succession of bustouts as players headed on break with a hand still going on Table 12. At the time, just 52 remained with 51 paying and they were already two minutes into break. Chris Gilkey was at risk preflop for his last roughly 175,000 versus David DiBernardi. Gilkey had the best of it, but needed to fade some outs.
DiBernardi spiked his queen to bust Gilkey on the stone bubble. With that, all tables were off to break and in the money.
