Flight 1D players are back in their seats as the player count continues to click higher into triple digit territory. This is already the biggest flight of the first four with more than two hours left to register.

Orlando’s Maury Barrett is your early chip leader though there are a lot close by. His 57,000 was good enough for the top spot but a lot of the starters are sticking around on their first bullet. Barrett is looking to improve on his biggest career cash, he picked up $9,300 for a deep run this spring in the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.

Registration has closed for the Ladies Event as they come back to Level 7. The tournament drew 40 entrants, a fine increase from the 18 who played this event last year.

Brenda Lyons, former WSOP Circuit Ladies Event final table member, is your latest leader. Her stack has increased from the starting 15,000 up to 62,000 and she added another 10,000 on one of the first hands after break.

Payouts and prizepool information will be posted shortly.

Event 1 Day 1D: Fourth Flight Flying

$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 1: 25/50

The second flight of the day, and fourth overall for Event 1, is underway in the corner of the poker room. This flight puts every poker table in use with the exception of those breaking in the other two tournaments.

They don’t stay empty for very long, floor staff transition those right into the ever-increasing number of live cash games rolling.

Event 1 has 247 entrants counted over the first three starting flights and tonight will boost it closer to the $150,000 Guarantee. For the $350 buy-in, players sit with 20,000 stacks and will move through 30-minute levels on Day 1. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 10:30pm.

Players are in their seats and cards are in the air.

Event 1 Day 1C: McNealy Closing on 200K

Level 13: 1,200/2,400/300 Ante

Greg McNealy (Tampa, FL)

Players are back in their seats after the break and have two more levels to build up their stack. Misti Murphy continues to have a very nice day and increased her stack to 177,700 over the previous four levels.

But she is not longer leading, thT honor belongs to Greg McNealy who is closing in on 200,000. His 190,500 at break would be good enough for a top ten stack through the first three flights but things could change in the next hour.

McNealy has some nice success in our poker room. He captured the “Classic Rockers” event during the 2014 Spring Poker Open and his biggest score came when he won the $560 Deep Stacks Series event in 2013 for almost $65,000.
