Rex Clinkscales is one of a number of pros who left Las Vegas, hopped a plane and headed east for the WPTDeepStacks-Tampa series. His appearance in the Main Event marks his first time in the property’s new, state-of-the-art poker room.

Clinkscales couldn’t find a bag during yesterday’s Flight B, but Flight C is shaping up to be a different story. On a 
board, he was heads up and first to act. Clinkscales’ opponent held about 15,000 chips and Clinkscales put him at risk. The opponent called off and Clinkscales flipped over 
for a flush. The opponent turned over 
and hit the rail.
That pot grew Clinkscales to about 70,000 chips and he’s nearly tripled up in the first three hours of the day.
