On the last hand before registration closed, Marcio Peixoto (Ocee, FL via Brazil) picks up a big pot and is one of our chip leaders at 75k.

There were three players all in with Peixoto and another opponent playing for the sidepot. “I had pocket 9s and the flop was 9-2-3,” says Peixoto who bets his set and gets the other big stack to fold.

Peixoto wins the side pot and main pot with a full house when the board runs out 5, 5. He knocks out three players and takes down a 60k chip pot.
