After a opening raise, Rob Manjura called, then Tam Nguyen 3-bet. The opener folded and Rob called. On the flop of Rob checked, Tam bet 220k, Rob shoved for ~800k more and Tam snap-called, showing pocket Aces. Rob picked the wrong time to make a move as his was drawing slim. He got no help and was felted in 15th place for $2,061.
Three more players have busted out, bringing the count down to 18. They’re drawing for seats at the final two tables.
Jim Bozzuto took 21st place. Steve Trizis ran his pocket Tens into Hristos Tsironis’ pocket Queens and busted in 20th place. Jim Puritz then busted out in 19th place.
All three of these players will collect $1,214 for their efforts.
Shortly after returning from dinner, Tim Clermont shoved holding and ran into Yong Wolfer’s pocket Kings. The Kings held and the start of Day 2 chip leader was sent packing in 2nd place.
