Flight A of Event 3 came to an end with ten players remaining but barely. Mark Wiser was all in on the last hand with against queens and flopped two aces to double.

Fred Paradis bagged up the biggest stack with 338,500 with Herbert Woodbery in second with 190,000.

As expected, Flight A played down to one table and they are working their way through the last level of the night. It looks like Fred Paradis is still leading and we’ll keep an eye out for big pots.

We are rolling out another multi-flight tournament over the next couple days to move us closer to the Main. Flight B of Event 3 starts at 6pm in the poker room with a $570 buy-in and healthy $100,000 Guarantee.

Flight A put 51 entries in so far and we expect an even bigger turnout this evening.

Players will start with 25,000 deep stacks and all Day 1 levels will last 30 minutes before switching to 40 on Day 2. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 10:30pm and their day will come to an end after Level 14. Those still with chips will bag them up for a Day 2 return on Wednesday.

Fred Paradis is the new leader they are chasing and his 215,000 is the only stack over 200K. Herbert Woodbury is the closest with 170,000 but it is anyone’s game to bag the end-of-day lead.

Registration has come to a close in the Omaha 8 tournament in the back of the room and it drew huge. We had 71 entries get in the four-card for a tremendous turnout on a Monday afternoon.
